Throw in Whitney Houston and I agree

105m for Simon & Garfunkel is pretty good & wouldn't have thought Enya would have sold that many either.

That is quite a comprenhensive list, but there is definitely bands missing from it. It is hard to know the exact sales of a lot of earlier bands as sales tracking devices had not been introduced. For a start Supertramp should be on it, as they sold 25million copies of one album alone. Rush have surely done 30m+ also. There are many more

    Those figures don't seem correct.

2Pac has sold more records then Eminem.

I know for a fact 2Pac has sold more then 50 million records. His album "The Seven Day Theory" had 28 million sales worldwide, with his album "All Eyez On Me" topping that. That is instantly over 50 million.

Then you also have his greatest hits which went 9 times plantinum in America alone I believe. So that's about 65+ million of 3 albums alone.

Ive read countless times that Oasis have sold over 50 million albums as well. Interesting list though, lot of crap on that list.

Wikipedia says 18 million for it - so I maybe slightly out, but its hard to say how accurate any of these figures are - all I know was it was one of the biggest selling albums of 1979. I would estimate the band has done between 50-60m overall.

I remember hearing about 10 to 15 years ago that AC/DC had passed the 100, 000, 000 mark. I remember being amazed at the time by the figure.

    Not at all for me.

I heard somewhere she's got the most #1 hits of all time for a solo artist and has spent more weeks at #1 then another other artist in music history.

    Pretty sad if true.

I'm a big Van Halen fan but I surprised to see them that high seeing as they haven't made that many albums and they never achieved very big popularity outside of the USA.

Good effort by Guns and Roses on the back of basically 3 albums.

Can't believe Johnny Cash doesn't get a spot. How could that be. Sold millions over 4+ decades and is still selling after his death.
