The girlfriend and I have taken up hiking over the last few months - love it.

Wondering if anybody else in here is into hiking? If anybody from Melbourne could recommend some cool spots to check out that'd be great. We're trying to get out once or twice a week.

For a long weekend…

The overnight walks at Wilson’s Promontory are lovely. Not overly challenging but some lovely beaches and coastal views at times.

The northern end of the Prom is apparently more remote and difficult for hikers.

A lovely spot though! Read up before you go as it sounds like there are track closures.

Wilson's Prom is on the cards when we both have some time off together.

I'm keen as for Blue Mountains too. We did one at Arthurs Seat on the weekend that was pretty cool... but the girlfriend still struggles with hills so it's baby steps.

Tell she there's a reward at the end of the hills :roflv1:.

Mount Oberon prob the best views at the prom .
Def hilly that walk...but I think the view would be worth it.
We didn't do that too much cloud cover..

Beach walks at the prom easy and nice rocks etc.

You can look on all trails on how hard the walks etc.
