IF (thats a big if) we lose the Hills and Ed all at once. We are moving backwards not moving forward initially. We are not progressing. Sure we might have high draft pics but they take time and obviously the risk the pics dont develop. To lose all three we are essentially starting the rebuild again.

Either way we are slowing the progress towards a Premiership.

Thats what they said about losing Lachie Neale.

If Brad Hill goes we will be bringing in Tim Kelly. And with two years on his contract I doubt we will be losing on the trade.

Lets not panic, still a bunch of Young games etc.

But we would have been better with Lachie, and again better with Kelly added without losing anyone. Anyone we lose holds us back or regresses us.

That's what every "rebuild" looks like.

Good clubs with winning cultures don't do rebuilds. It's a term used by losers. Every club that's done a "rebuild" has been perennially s**t ever since.
Yeah especially the Hawks and Cats in the early 2000s, those rebuilds didn't work out so well for them did they?

Loser talk is making sweeping statements and not actually considering the specifics of your particular situation.

Who knows. Apparently there is beef there, another rumor is Kelly doesn't like Lyon, or Bennell. Maybe one is true, or all, or maybe it's all bs. Can't keep up.
None of those rumours are true. Tim Kelly was annoyed that South Fremantle had a ton of people tell freo they should draft him in repeated drafts. Freo interviewed him and said they were a very strong chance to select him two years in a row and then we passed at the last minute. Everyone at South Freo told Kelly that was bloody stupid of Freo. He took that on board and didnt want to play for the team that had made but not kept promises to recruit him. This is VERY much common knowledge to anyone who has had a long association with South Freo knows that and ive heard it directly from a number of people with inside information on the Tim Kelly situation. Total unfounded rubbish is what the rumours are.

But that’s not nearly as salacious as we want to it to be in this era of Real Housewives and Kardashians.

Not phased if posters dont believe me. Id recommend though if you know anyone associated with South Freo to ask them about the extent to which everyone was telling freo to recruit tim and then how baffled they were when they didnt follow through. It was a similar story with Marlon Picket who Ive been told we first interviewed two and a half years ago, but also failed to even use a rookie pick on him.

But then we’d have missed out on the likes of Crowden.

Bulldogs would be a good fit. Prob around pick 7. We will prob have around pick 9/10. I have us just missing finals.

Keep 7. Trade pick 9 and some later change for Kelly, or if we have to straight swap 7>Kelly>BHill.

I still see Henry around the 14-20 mark. Two second round picks for Langdon (21, 30)

In best scenario we go to the draft:
7 (or 9), Henry (bid match at 16), 27, 30

Using pick 21 or equivalent with discount on 16. This may push back 30 a little but whatever.

So in effect have 9, 16, 27, 30.
Lose Langdon, BHill > gain T. Kelly

Reiterate - need a good top 7 draft pick or direct player swap for T. Kelly. I’d be comfortable with that.
The only player swap Geelong would look at would be Fyfe or maybe Walters other than that top 10 draft pick +. He still wants to go to WCE and Geelong haven't given up moving heaven and Earth to keep him. You certainly need him at the moment.

What I don’t get is that South people would have spoken to West Coast as well.
