have heard around the traps, but the traps are not that reliable, but they are not that unreliable too, that you might be surprised a little come trade time, I will say nothing more. And the surprises have all to do with who we offer too.
dont want to start anything but I heard it and pass it on. Again it might be pie in the sky stuff, but who knows. ;)
Who are you talking about? Stop dribbling $hit and come out with it!

"dont want to start anything but I heard it and pass it on" You haven't passed on anything you tool. Just another $hit post.

BTW, Unless he is traded Hilton will get another contract!

Hilton will be at Richmond in 2006.

A Richmond supporter on PRE won a competition at the start of the year to have a tour of Punt Road, and Greg Miller stated the following interesting comments:

- This year's draft will be shallow, and won't be much value after say pick 30. Said next year's is looking like being a belter. He joked and said all recuiters say that so they can keep their job for another year, but it's actually true in this case. Said he's seen at least 30 kids who could go in the first round in the 2006 draft, but things can often change.

- As for this year, he said we'll most likely only go for 3 kids in the draft..this is after 8 and 8 in the previous 2 years. Probably go 4 rookies. He said due to the lean draft, picking up a say pick 60 is too risky, and not economic. Cost $140,000 for a 2 year contract plus transfer fees, and there's only a 10% chance of him making it.

- As for delistings, mentioned that Hilton has done everything asked of him in the last 10 weeks, after it looked like he'd be the first to go. He said to me that they may groom him as a back pocket, who can play tall...rather than as a forward as Browny & Pets are before him as mid-sized forwards. Ladies & Gentleman....I think you'll find he's staying.

- Won't be wholesale delistings due to some players still being under contracts, will definitely be snooping around for some trades, but don't expect a Browny type trade, maybe next year. Get the impression GM really has his eyes on that 2006 draft.

- Will be focusing on KPP in this year's draft, but if all the decent KPPs are taken before our first pick...prob about 8, we'll consider a classy, receiver type to deliver after the hard ball is won by a Cog, Tuck etc. He said Bris didn't have any receiver type mid-fielders during their 3 cups...they were all in and under, and great deliverers. GM use to hate this type of player (receiver), but said times have changed, and this type of player is needed. He joked and said PA won the cup last year with about 5 of them. Said we lead the hard ball gets in the comp...but don't have that link player to put it on the chest of the forward. Said Lids can do both though.
And for those interested, Terry Wallace:

- Told us a couple of tactics that he's going to implement for the Hawthorn game. One of them he asked us to keep to ourselves, so I'll respect that. (Can tell you after the game on Sunday if anyone's interested...or better still, be interested to see if anyone can pick it). The other one is Lids playing a forward role. He said Lids would love to win the Rising Star award (TW thinks he's a shoe-in), so if he can snag 3/4 goals up forward, would put a nail in the coffin. He said Lids use to be a forward in his junior days anyway.

- Even though we've lost the last 5, TW hasn't been so disappointed, but if we lose tomorrow against the Hawks...he'll be mighty upset. Said this game last year was for the wooden spoon, and now we have the chance to go 10 wins against the Hawks 5.

- Bemoans the fact that we have a bunch of experienced guys and a majority of young guys....but no 23-25 year olds. Knew this problem before he came here. Said this is a huge problem, and come trade time, will be looking to fill this gap somewhat.

- Said list management is the most important aspect of coaching, one that he is focusing on. He's desparate for a premiership but said even if there isn't one within his 5 years, we'll be set up for a period of sustained success.
