If there is one fella that I hope escapes the purge it is Rory, Ive been a real fan of the way he has gone about his footy from the day that he sent that horrible little C$%& Byron Picket into gaga land in an otherwise forgettable game at the SCG Vs North melbourne.

He's been damned unlucky that every time he has afair run at it he does a serious injury.

Nevermind rory, you can stay as long as you want young fella

Have to agree with you pal , there are plenty in line to go before him

Mind you , having said that , it would only be a case of charity if they kept him . Shoulder reco last year , knee reco that will keep him out until mid- next year . Even the greatest optimist would find it hard to say that he can still have an impact at AFL level . Considering he has never really "arrived" in the first place

yeah realise that he will be put together with gaffa tape next year, however with 40 places on a list and not being paid anything more than mixed nuts...he still has something to offer, his natural mongrel will appeal to the way wallace had the bulldogs play...

You've got be kidding on Rory. He has to go. The Hawthorn game summed him up. Three goals in the first quarter and that was enough. No work ethic, no skill and as for his apparent hardness, laying one hip and shoulder isn't hard, putting your head over the footy and winning the pill is. Rory has never been keen on that. He's not tall enough to be a KPP and not quick enough to be a ground player. He is just an average player in a poor side, that is of no value to us or anyone else.

Sorry Rory

um - he is still on the list. and may stay there. ploughs address to the players was to the effect that everyone still there has a part to play.

I don't think that's quite true. It is widely known that a lot of players will be put up for trade, the ones that the club believes it may get something in return for. For a number of these players, if they are not traded, they will be delisted. Hilton will fit into this category. He may be someone that is redrafted at the end of the draft though if nobody else wants him.

True, I think Wallace handled it well not having the players there for the discussion that have been cut. He's obviously a player with some skill, but his workrate doesn't seem to be high enough for a lot of the time and now he's had another serious injury, I don't think it will come as a surprise if he goes. If he does, then I wish him all the best and hope he can get back to playing good footy.
