We are currently a bottom 4 team. You think bringing in six players makes us top 4.

Wow-imagine someone being silly enough to believe our team would improve if more than one third of the team added were the quality of Swan, Elliot, Fasolo, Scharenburg, Adams, Moore, Williams and Ramsay. Given a run of many weeks without injury there is no reason why this team would not be in top four contention. You don't smash Geelong and the Dogs (in all but the scoreboard) in consecutive weeks (with players already missing) without ability.

I think we would be in contention for a spot in the bottom half of the eight without the injury disaster suffered this year. I don't believe we would be in top 4 contention because we don't have the experience needed. I made this point during the NAB cup when some people were getting carried away with our form.

Because we are not a top 4 team, even with no injuries.

The past 2 years we have been in the top 4 midway through the season before injuries hit.

We don't have the depth to handle more than 3 injuries to our best 22.

We've shown in the Cats and Bulldogs game we are capable, just not consistent.
