****ing brilliant idea defending an 11 point lead.

Spriggs is a spineless ****.

Scarlett is a champion.

Forward line wont be too bad when a) Steve Johnson and King return and b) there is a geelong player between half back and half forward. Easy pickings for the saints defenders in that last quarter.

It was a Grand Final. Did you expect anything less?

You're a troll.Did we expect anything less from you ?

Well done to your side on beating StKilda last week.

You're right he is a troll, but he is a Lions supporter, not a Bomber, ignore what his profile says.

Another lost Grand Final. Is that 8 in a row now? Do you think that there is a mental problem with the club when it comes to Grand Finals or they just aren't/weren't good enough on the actual day.

I don't believe you guys choked. You were supurb for three quarters and were going ok in the last as well. But IMO it was just a matter of time before the saints broke the cats shackles. Something had to give, and just in time as well. :D
Don't get too down on yourselves.

Nine in a row I think.... 5 day, four night ? (Am I correct here?)

Agree, you guys didn't choke. You played some good footy for the 1st 3 quarters, the tackling was great. I just think your hardness at the ball took its toll, and by the time the last qtr came around, the Cats were stuffed, and were over-ran by a fitter team.

 sob, yes you are.
I was four in '63. Don't remember it. Since then I've seen all nine losses either live or on telly. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see it happen. People wonder why I'm such a pessimist too.

Nine grand final losses is crap. I know it's easy to rationalise these things, but can anyone name a grand final in which we went in favourites, or even equal favourites? Doesn't help I know, but thought I'd just mention that aspect of the those losses. Losing as favourites would be a worse kick in the guts.

Why would I call myself a bomber supporter if I was really a Lions supporter? lmfao
Brisbane have won 3 flags in the last 3 years
Essendon have won 4 flags in the last 40 years.

I don't think we'll ever go in as favourites until we've won one.
