Flattered by the nominations, thanks.

In my humble opinion I admit Mobbs makes a reasonable point.
First half of my career - 121 games, 1 Mobbs medal, pretty invisible with hardly any posts (admittedly the league was a lot quieter then).

Second half of my career - 52 games, what you see now. Mostly stuff for the Roys and stats, not much league influencing stuff. Probably what I'm being judged on now, but not a standout summary.

I'd nominate larrikin and ClarkeM like many have here.

Exactly. The last few seasons would easily account for that. Legend of the sim and the league without a doubt.

Your biggest flaw as a poster is that you're much too modest!

I nominate Juggalo Balla and beez

Both contributed quite a lot when they were captains and they still do. They keep people on their toes and hold people accountable for their actions, they've been a little off the mark in some instances but at least they put the effort in and their hearts are in the right places.

You voted me in you half wit.

And Fred is in, Tiger aint.

But please explain why Tiger should be.

Having done enough to have a medal named after you yet not being a hall of famer seems strange to me.

He contributed heavily in the old days and we found out what happened to him in the recent Karny interview.

Yes FR is Frankston Rover. Perhaps going missing counts against him but he also has a medal named after him yeah?

Thanks for nominating me btw, very humbling

Care to address feigning surprise I was infront of them after you voted me in though Juggs? :)

Tiger contributed heavily? Where? League went backwards under him IMO and many of us who were here when he was around. PVF yes that is a fair point but Tarkyn_24 created the only other league to have any sort of success and that won't count for him here.

As for naming medals after him, IMO Alf_Andrews is the prime example of this. He was around when it was being named, right spot at the right time IMO. Doggies was trying to pay respect to the bloke that handed him the job, nice concept but in hindsight a rubbish idea. I can name at least 10 posters who I would've named the award after before him.

FR I agree though. If he'd stuck around with the job he started then the league would've expanded to 14-16 teams last season instead of only to 10. We took big strides under him, backwards under the middle to end part of Tiger once FR's influence had waned and Doggies then consolidated. Tarkyn_24 disagrees and I know he'll say so but Doggies is crimminally underrated because he got handed such a mess. I'm trying to move us forward back to what FR envisaged and I'd say, if you'll allow me to, I'm doing a decent job of getting there.

And I stand by what I've repeatedly said about you. I don't particuarly like you, I think your a dick at times (more often then not if I'm totally honest) but I respect what you've done.

boncer34 why not just rename the awards?
Mobbenfuhrer can explain.

I'm of the opinion we should but groundswell when I tried to broach the subject was we should stick with tradition.

Plus it opens a can of worms mate. Just because my personal opinion is someone shouldn't have an award named after them doesn't mean its correct, similarly just because I think someone should be doesn't necessarily mean they should.
