Questions;

Why (IMO) do the umpires allow Geelong/St.Kilda/Bulldogs all the time in the world to get rid of the ball?
About 6 times during play, for both Geelong and St.Kilda, the players being tackled were allowed to hold on to it for ages, even being spun around and its not HTB?
But for other teams if they get touched thats it.... very poor umpiring imo.

On another Note;

Start of the third quarter Keplar Bradley gets a free kick against him....... For giving a Carlton player a bump to the chest/guts...

WTF !! Seriously is it netball or Football!!! Worst free kick i've seen all year... and there has been some horrible ones.

Umpires yoyo-ing what is going to be called and what won't be called is extremely annoying. What is even more annoying however is when something is called earlier in the game then disregarded later.

Yea, Consistancy is all us supporters ask for. But week to week it changes :thumbsdown:

I blame part of that on the three umpire system, three umpires means there are three different sets of interpretations. Understandable given the speed of the modern game, but it greatly reduces consistency. Some umpires are strict, some umpires are lax, some vary. Then of course you've got the rules committee interfering, the media shining a light on certain aspects which lead to changes in policy, personal bias, etc.
