How did you celebrate xmas & nye?

Most of my relatives on my Mum's side live down near Wagga Wagga, so Mum and I drove down for a week or so for Christmas. Had a pretty good time, and met my 1 year old cousin, who was in my Aunty's belly when we last visited. There wasn't any coverage down there, so it was good to get away and spend some time with my loved ones.

We drove back on the 30th and went to a friend's house for nye with a few others. Then on New Year's Day I slipped over in a garage whilst playing ping pong and got a graze on my ankle which hasn't stopped weeping since. D: hahaha

Down the Gold Coast at mum and dads house for Christmas feast, just ate and drank, open presents is the norm.

Went to Coolum Beach from the 27th to the 3rd in a 5 bedroom beach house with some friends and just drank and ate for a week in the sun. PS3, guitars, beach, cricket and footy.

Not much to do here at the rock. Drinks with mates, video games (there is a large Rock Band/Guitar Hero community here) and of course hiding under air conditioning.

Yesterday I decided to do the 10.5km base walk of Ayers Rock. To anyone who comes here, I highly recommend to not do it like me in 40 degree heat

Doesn't sound like this should be in a forum, called "In The Shade". :D
