Just thought I'd raise an interesting point that the grand final is the first game of this finals series that we actually get a home ground advantage. After the new stand is built at Kardinia, what are the chances that we will be able to play home finals in Geelong? Does anyone know if home finals are on our radar?

Well, the AFL's bullsh*t excuse is that we dont have enough seating, so IF this puts us over the 30,000 mark then we SHOULD play finals there. Its unfair we play finals at home against Collingwood at their home ground. Honestly AFL, lets use your logic and have the Grand Final at a neutral ground like AAMI stadium

I guess hypothetically that if we were playing an interstate team in the finals then a home game at SS could be a goer. But if we were playing a Collingwood or Essendon etc then it would be at the MCG IMO
