If the Saffers get a Test at the WACA, wouldn't it be the first time in ages they have?

Since readmission, I don't think we've let them play a Test against us at the WACA. Maybe because they always had great quicks, and we had Warnie
Should get a good crowd for that one consideirng the number of Saffers and Zimbawians living in WA

Are you being serious!? The ODI World Cup is going to be held IN Australia/New Zealand right after that series. Those ODI series against 2 possible favourites is a godsend. What would you have in place? Another test match versus the Indians? Four seems good enough.
i guess his point (which i agree with) is that it will be an overkill of ODI's. if every ground in australia already sees australia once for an ODI, how can you convince them to come see neutral games there for the world cup. i love the tri series idea, but aus/ind/eng should be done at an appropriate time. a 5 series odi would be enough.

To be fair, that tri series isn't going to be as long winded as the ongoing one.

I'm pretty sure the summer plan is October/November 3 tests vs RSA, then December 5 ODI's. Sri lanka will then play Boxing day, New years, and probably adelaide before having ODI's late January(including aus day in Adelaide).

i doubt they would take a test of Hobart and give it to sydney, thats just silly.
There is also the possibility that the SL series would only be two Tests if CA don't think they make enough money out of Hobart Tests to make it worthwhile holding them.
