we saw him in the Wiz..he didn't lose any friends.
we should play him this week. He probably could have come straight in against the Doggies considering these factors :-

:) He's young, fit, stil bounces, and set time records at the '99 draft camp...on top of that he's done 3 pre-seasons.

:) Richmond are playing 5 talls virtually every week since Round 3 and have lost most of those games...therefore, maybe something isn't working...MAYBE SOMETHING ISN'T WORKING ?!!?.

:) I know he's just come back fom an injury he sustained about round 4...I therefore present to you that awesome invention : The bench. His only issue should be that he might be leg sore from the Coburg game. So run him in bursts. Manage him.

:) Daniel Bandy might not have had such a free go at us in the fwd line with Homey waiting for him , NOT CHASING ! WAITING ! every time Bandy crossed the wing into forward, Scotty could've picked him up...he's quick enough to stay with...and disciplined enough to punch...

That's my case for...
give me the case aginst...

I'm not so sure!

:( I was less than convinced with his Wizard Cup form. He did OK defending but showed at times that he lacks the smarts to make it at the top level.

:( I wouldn't be so keen to rush him back into the ones - His form at Coburg would have to be positively smoking before we considered promoting him.

:( The Kangaroos won't be playing overly tall. They will play Rocca, McCartney and Morrell up forward. Can easily be covered by Gaspar, Kellaway and Hall.

:( He may be considered when we come up against a legitimately tall team (maybe Collingwood) but until then, it would affect our balance.

:( I would see him as being behind Vardy in the tall defender stakes.

My gut feeling is that he hasn't got it unfortunately.

Oh i don't know..Last year was effectively his first proper season at an afl club and i think he did ok , never be a star defender but should make a pretty solid 2nd/3rd tall defender if he works at it..

fair enough...

OK, the council has spoken. Homewood isn't up to it. Well if spud agrees then that's good enough for me.
I'm sure he knows the players better than I do. :)

Begs the question what the hell is he doing on the list ?... if you won't consider him when you need his type the most ????

Anyone see what I'm trying to get at here ?

kellaway 190
gaspar 193
Hall.........196
Stafford....203
