Crows had an internal trial match yesterday. A couple of mildly promising performances came out of it. This is weel and truly sufficient to start the expectation of success building for the season. And who knows, the team which came 11th last season may not suffer such a dreadful start this year, snag just a few more victories and bag a spot in the eight. They do seem to have picked up some extra forward potency.
So how is it for fans of other clubs? How are preliminary trial games going, or have there not been any yet for your club? Is the anticipation of just a bit more success than last season also building at other clubs?
Put it this way ... I would be surprised to hear any fan say how they think their club will slide. Very surprised.
But what might be interesting is ... where do you think your club can REALISTICALLY improve this year? Where is your club GENUINELY going to be better off?
Lets try and limit ourselves in predicted improvements to a few extra wins for the year, a few places on the ladder, and try to retain a least a modicum of credibility though.
