8 Jan FINAL Final - Winner Group A v Winner Group B
Group A - Russia, Italy, Argentina, Germany
Group B - USA, Australia, Slovak Republic, Zimbabwe/Netherlands
Im tipping Russia to take out the title, with Myskina and Safin playing. I dont think USA has enough to win without Davenport or Williams and with Blake sliding down thr rankings and Shaughnessy an average player. Molik could do very well and if Phillipoussis gets his act together, Australia are a finals chance. Dont rate Argentina, I dont know much about 19 year old Dulko, but Coria might be tough to beat. Germany wont win, although Haas is showing signs of getting back to top form. Italy and Slovak Republic wont win it. Out of the teams playing for the final spot on the draw, I think Netherlands will beat Zimbabwe for the spot tommorrow and keep an eye out for 15-year old Michaela Krajicel. Half brother of Wimbledon winner Richard Krajicek and apparently a very good player. A future star.
