PRE-SEASON TRADE

Hornets are pleased to advise of pre-season trade with Mozzie Bites where the Hornets receive Liam Jurrah and Mozzies receive David Astbury.

Coach Knobby acknowledged it was a risky trade for both teams as Liam Jurrah has injury issues as well as current personal issues and likewise David has had his injury issues over the past year or so, however, the Hornets have a need to bolster their forward stocks and were quite willing to take the risk, we wish David and Mozzie Bites good luck !

Jurrah will take over the number 12 guernsey that Astbury was previously allocated.

The Hornets held their annual best and fairest awards night tonight, at of course the Sydney Harbour Opera House, it was a respendent event with the players wives and girlfriends almost outshining the players on the red carpet !
