Wasnt sure where this fits ...
http://titusoreily.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-sanfl/

This week, Essendon approached several SANFL players to play in the NAB Challenge.

This is because many Essendon players will have to sit out due to a giant international conspiracy.

The SANFL were not happy and Essendon have since apologised.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering what is a SANFL? Do I have it and is there a cure? Can you get it from eating frozen berries?

These are good questions, well put.

Rest assured, you probably don’t have SANFL.
  • The SANFL is shown in HD because Channel Seven are the worst and are just trolling the rest of Australia
  • Collingwood stole the magpies name and colours from Port Adelaide, a SANFL club. Mention this to a Collingwood supporter whenever you see one

Glenelg president Nick Chigwidden said to his knowledge, none of his players had been approached, but if they were the club would be hesitant to release them.

Please don't, as much as I'd like it to be true, unfortunately Collingwood were the Magpies, prior to Port Adelaide. Port Adelaide is the older club however.

While I'm at it I don't like when I hear Sydney "stole" the Magpies "Cheer, Cheer..." I love the song but unfortunately Sydney had it first (in Australian Football).

Karmichael Hunt charged with supplying cocaine
Karmichael Hunt on drug charges
Talented footballer Karmichael Hunt is accused of supplying cocaine while playing AFL for the Gold Coast Suns.
It is alleged Hunt and the co-accused arranged for cocaine for personal use or to be passed on to friends or colleagues between June and December 2014.
Hunt was playing in the AFL for the Gold Coast Suns and training with the Reds during that time.

Well, if you didn't like Essendon before, you really shouldn't now.

We knew what we were getting into with Ryder anyway.
Yes which made it even more bizarre reading through the Ryder to Port thread on their board.
Bombers fan's just could not see why Port wouldn't offer top price for Ryder, quite strange.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but late last week Port Adelaide announced that Paddy Ryder and Angus Monfries will not be selected until the decision and any penalty in the Essendon Drugs deal is handed down. This means that if it takes until mid April for the AFL to hand down a penalty, if that in fact happens, Ryder and Monfries will sit out the start of the AFL season regardless of penalty. As has been pointed out by others the ludicrous nature of this matter is illustrated in this situation because the PAFC is officially not supposed to know who is under investigation. If the players identities are confidential how can the Club not select them?

The PAFC has obviously done this to avoid jeopardising the backdated ban because of ASADA's bloody minded attitude.

The question I have is what happens if these players are found not guilty? They will have missed football matches for which they and their clubs cannot be compensated and the players will have had their reputations sullied by being labelled drug cheats. I guess none of that is important.

Mind you, events at the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL have made the Essendon saga pale to insignificance. If what is alleged to have taken place is proved then I think the last couple of days in Queensland may have been the 'blackest days in Australian sport'. Every time I see a report on this story it gets bigger.

are you talking about the cocaine thing ? if so that is by no means the blackest day in sport i mean they would be on criminal charges if they did it and That has zip to do with their sport , Essendon "allegedly" doped their whole team with performance enhancing drugs to get an unfair advantage so id say that is the blackest day in sport

I think you had better read the story. The Gold Coast Titans certainly think it has everything to do with the NRL because they have stood the five players down pending investigation. The NRL certainly think it has everything to do with the sport because the NRL Integrity Unit is conferring with the Titans to determine penalties if the players are found guilty in the courts. The link below might help you...

Not surprisingly the lawyer acting for the players is saying they are innocent and should not be stood down. Apparently the players are implicated in a wide spread drug ring with up to 100 other suspects.

The further arrests in coming weeks line is going to have the AFL a little nervous prehaps.
The question will be whether Karmichael Hunt, who is playing Union this year, was dealing while at the Suns. If it's proven that he was then three codes will be concerned.

It is also interesting that most of this alleged activity appears to have happened after Kate Lundy's 'Blackest Day' announcement. Apparently not everyone was listening.
