i don't have internet at home so i only get my laptop on the net whenever i'm at college. last time i was at college was last wednesday.
come back today and when i check my e mails about 50 emails have been sent to random contacts with what presumadly has a link to some virus.
i've just run AVG and it's picked up nothing and i'm currently running ad aware and i would be suprised if it picks up anything as well.
could this simply be a case of hotmail having the account hacked?? or could it be something more mailicous such a key tracker on the computer... if so why wouldn't they go for something more useful like my bank account details as i check my bank account each day.
or even something as simple as someone looking over my shoulder at college as a type away although i doubt that as i'm a quick typer and given how often i type out my hotmail password i can do it in less than a second so i doubt anyway could spot it....
any thoughts as to what i need to look out for as i've never had my msn account hacked before.
