Poor Chelsea Roffey.

She's actually a really smart girl (she was school captain the year after I graduated). Could be anything she wants to be.

Unfortunately she is now seen as "that tasty bit of crumpet between the goal posts."

That takes a lot of skill and intelligence. I spent most of today on a half page media release for the federal government. It is not easy work.

Chelsea deserves a bit of respect.

I am saying thats how most of the football public would perceive her, which is unfair to her. Because if she was a man, she would be considered as a very good goal umpire, but being female, a whole different eye is cast over her.

Just a comment about the footy public. Not that this phenomena is limited to the sporting arena.

I have nothing but respect for her, as I said, she was a fellow Ormiston College student and was a top student, athlete and very nice girl all at once.

She seems a lot smarter then the previous Female goal ump from Qld.Can't remember her name but she spoke like a sailor when she was waiting for her local state league game a few years ago.
