For those who have had an extension done to your house, what steps and procedures did you take?
I am looking at getting an extension done on my house. I'm looking to get quotes from a few builders. I understand I need to get current plans from the council.
Once I have the current plans, should I be taking them to a draftsman for them to design plans for the extension? Would I then take those plans to a surveyancer, before getting quotes from a builder?
Any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated.
