How about ALL clubs have their own BB!!!!!

I know you are setting up a Collingwood BB here shortly, But how about an extra board for all the clubs?? I know it would be lot of extra work, BUT you could use other members here to be the moderators (to help lighten your work load) of their respective boards!

Just a thought anyway!

What does everyone else think?

Most of the other clubs have their own forums if they want to use an insular forum, but I think most people like it here because it has different points of view & a wider variety of topics.

I almost didn't post the idea because I asummed the whole idea was going to fall flat on it's arse anyway! But you never know, some people may like the idea!

Now I'm not trying to offend any collingwood supporters but it is funny that there was no talk of bb's for teams until Collingwood sups came here as there's died. I think having everyone in the topics great as you don't just get other fellow club supporters comments but you do get some very good thought out comments from other club supporters and you see what they think and it can help you work out things. Thats what I think anyway.

When are you and others here going to realise that Nick's Collingwoood site was a privately run site, it wasn't associated with the club, it had no funding at all. The owners simply ran that site from their own wallets and never asked for any help.

I suggest you go and visit the site and look at a thread on the BB called "A rough outline of this site" by Mike. It mentions all the costs that they had to pay to keep the site up and running, which they have been doing for 5 years!

CJ, I did know it was a privately run site, I said it died as I meant it wasn't running anymore as it wasn't funded, not because collingwood stopped funding it. I read that in another post that they had nothing to do with it and also sort of gathered from the name Nicks bb. What i meant was that it was funny what happened but it is resolving now and that is good, Thanks anyway and I do value your comments, I think they are well informed.

Nick's site has not died, ceased, demised or stopped. It was initially intended that it did do just that, but the reaction has been so overwhelming that we have given ourselves until January to work it through and try to find a solution.
