How are the Hawks going to go in Season 2011?

I'm a Pom here in the land of rain but I love the Hawks ever since seeing them on TV here in the 8o's.I remember that champion team with real affection.I see the Hawks at least got into the 8 last season so how do u think they're gonna go next year?R the glory days around the corner?& how does the draft work?I see we traded our No1 pick for a ruckman from Adelaide.
PS I was real shocked to see the Tassie rumours

Hi Dipper, glad to see someone else besides Dutchman (he is a bomber, good bloke besides that) in the UK.

Im pretty confident top four-six is realastic for the next season. The coach improved out of site over the 2nd half of this year, and some of the weaknesses in the team (ie runners in the middle) should be overcome by the return to form of Crawford and the development of some of the kids. Look out for Brett Johnson and (a smokey but he is a fav of mine) Bill Nicholls.

I think we should be top 4 all things being equal (injuries etc). Having said that we could be bottom 4 with the wrong luck it really is that fine a line (Melbourne the perfect example)
Our defence is good - talls better than anybodys in the comp. Smalls O.K - Tallis has to be the best resurection since Lazarus & while I know he seems unpopular Mccabe is good.
Forward line is O.K esp if Thommo comes back to his best (calm down Grendel!), Lord comes back & Barker can continue his form of this year.
Midfield I think will be O.K as Crawford will improve & Johnson & Piccioane (interested in your opinion of Piccioane Grendel)are guns of the future . Bowyer , Harford, Joel Smith (I still think he needs a bit of faith shown in him) Woods & Rock give us an O.K set. Would also like to see Dixon given a run in preseason midfield.

You know what they say about doing the same thing and expecting different results ... they blamed injuries and such last year but always said the gameplan wasn't going to change, reminds me more of Hawthorn's 2010 with that stupid bloody full ground zone Clarkson was still using that we didn't even use in the 08 finals. Might have made the finals in 2010 but a 30 point loss for Fremantle's first ever finals win isn't covering yourself in glory.
