probably according to plan.

What's the bet Mr Miller has a contingency plan involving a former league coach ready to step in if the incumbent is required to leave?

Why else would he ask approval from the board to be given the power to terminate the coach's contract (as has been alleged) before the contrct time has expired.

I would even go further and suggest that it may have been part of the lure to get him there because 'it's on the cards" wink wink .

I'm a real sceptic when it comes to footy and it's politics  Could be an interesting season on the coaching merry go round.

Doc, if you're referring to our esteemed former coach, I'm sure you'll find he wouldn't be interested in the Richmond coaching position "at this point in time".

Exactly Sedat.

In fact I think he will acknowledge that Frawley is a great coach and the he wouldnt want to do "anything" to jeapodise his position.

Gee, that Brown's a disruptive influence.

Frawley will probably resign soon, but ask if it's OK to coach out the rest of the season.

"Richmond are 100 per cent professional. I reckon the Tigers can achieve anything if they put it all together on the field. And from what I've seen in my brief time here, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think we were good enough to win a premiership."

Richmond still have one win more than us. If they win next weekend, they will not be too far off the pace. It's too early to gloat.

i thought our little mate judas might have struggled to get a kick last nite because richo didnt play. have ya noticed everytime richo gets the ball he hangs around waiting for the handball.

coghlan ran into an open goal last nite and that little prick had the nerve to ask for the ball. very f##king cheaky. hope all the money is worth it down at tigerland.

I agree with The Doctor, it won't happen overnight but it's very likely to happen.

The thing that made me laugh was that Browny apparently "went off his tree" at the quarter time break and berated the Richmond team for their lack of interest in winning. HELLOOO?? This is the person who spent most of last year standing around with his hands on his hips and looking completely uninterested in being in our team.

I thought he was a decent on ball player

I was wrong

Regarding kicking 4 goals in a game and getting 20 possies

Luke Beveridge could have done that

Guys, much too early to gloat, but you sense he will spend the majority of his time up forward this year, which is one of the key reasons why he left the Dogs to begin with. Idiot. Hugely talented, but an idiot all the same.

Funny how the "reluctant recruit", Rawlings, has settled in at his new club, showing honest passion for his adopted club, better than some those players who switched clubs more willingly.

He will continue with the line that he went to Richmond to play finals. Highly unlikely at this stage but they play the bottom side this week at TD. If they lose expect a delivery of manure to Punt Road.
His body language shows that he is still not enjoying his footy which is one of the reasons he left.

Very very happy with Jade as a replacement.

Rawlings seems much better suited to our lineup than Brown (although you would have them both if the salary cap/team could afford it). With that in mind though I think Brown fits in quite well with the Richmond lineup and (if they can get things together and avoid injuries) they could well be a good side. All the same lets beat the hell out of the Tigers when we play them then we can gloat to the cows come home.

yes

I still believe one reason he went to richmond was to reunite with his mate Wallet next year. It will happen. They can deny it all they like but it is getting close by the week.

I believe its true also. Actually a mate of mine who goes for Richmond sat in a corporate box at last week's pathetic outing for the Tigs. He was having a word to a few ppl and apparently Wallet has already been offered a job, but rejected it because he is still contracted to Sydney. Not too sure if i believe that but it would make it interesting if Danny is sacked early in the season.
