Well I am 50 and as a kid going to school Richmond was a power I had my share of joy, however my kids have not seen any joy except the few games won every so often. The one thing they do like and why they come is the noise the Tiger supporters make now with wins more than 50/50 you can just see there eyes light up.

I'm 20, probably the worst age bracket to be in seeing as I was about 9 in 2001.

After years of going to games and being a member, it's a weird feeling to be going well..
20? Nah that's not the worst age for following this club, try 36. Started going to games regularly in 83 when I was 7 and we started being shit. Seen 2 finals wins in 30 years of support. From SOS campaign to the rise in 95 and 01. Saying that I wouldn't have it any other way, cause its made me appreciate any win we get, when we make finals again I'll relish that and if I'm lucky enough to see us lift the holy grail well this little ol town of ours won't know what's hit it. The good times are almost upon us boys and girls and I for one can't wait!! Eat em alive tigers!!

45 years old so I've been alive for the last five but can only remember the last one. What's worse is that I was at 82 and 8 rows back from Helen. To this day I blame her for changing the flow of the game in the last qtr. The depression after that game lasted weeks, maybe decades!! The years leading up to that I just remember the swagger of being a tiger. Over the years the swagger has become a normal walk. Over the last two weeks I have felt the swagger re-emerge. Last friday I made an enemy of a "rational" sts supporter - I could tell he just didn't get it - there was no passion. The hated Richmond supporter lives.

Let anyone who wants jump on the bandwagon, it just adds momentum - the true passionate supporters will forge the path a new generation of supporters will be brought into the fold. We will be the first club to 100k members.

You must be my twin deano! I'm 36 and first game I attended was in '83. Haven't missed many games since then and agree that I wouldn't have it any other way - well, maybe a little more success would have been nice, but seriously, when our day comes, the city of Melbourne will be turned upside down and people like us who have attended, signed up, drank plenty of beers and lost our voices over the years will enjoy it more than most.

Bandwagoners - get on board! Toot toot...

Go you Tiger!!!

I don't care what you say, if I like to watch Richmond games now so be it. If I decide to support your team over another because I like watching them and you don't want it, so be it.

Just got to say though I really respect your club this year, you've shown the improvement that I expected from North Melbourne!

I know of 3 people that say the "will" sign up as members next year. SO that is a pretty good sign of what we still have waiting in the wings. It'd be safe to assume we all know a few fellow Tiges that are potential members?

Everywhere I go people will always remember me when Richmond are playing .... got a text out of the blue from an old mate I havent seen in years ... saying Go the tigers !!!

I don't mind the bandwagoners as long as the long suffering supporters don't miss out in the process.

...and this is why bandwagon is crucial.
All my family are Collingwood or Hawthorn, but I was five at the start of the 1980 season.
Bled yellow and black since the Carlton game that year, when we pumped them in front of 85,000.
This is the point - 2012's bandwagonner is 2032's 20 year member.

Those other knobs who just want to say how great it is to see the Tiges doing well and that we're their second team, will hate us pretty soon and that will be joy enough for me.

The lid is off and it's a boy!

More the merrier. When the tigers get going it's out of control and as pointed out earlier. Not only do I and everyone my vintage yearn for those days, but i want all the younger tigers to experience it too.You reckon you love the tigers now well when these extras appear from oblivion it will blow your mind and you'll love it.
Want all the other teams 20 somethings and unders to see it too and get smashed by the tidal wave they can't see coming. That's the sleeping giant.
So many Richmond folk laying dormant are dusting off the duffle coats right now.

We want to achieve the success that makes us the most hated supporters in the league. Look at the Pies, 50K+ members, 2 flags in ~50 years, finals yes, and THEY reckon they have an army, imagine ours.....

I'm looking forward to all the bandwagon guff. I don't care what they say. Richmond prowling about the game wolfing down the little pissant clubs while they cry about bandwagons is what the game is about.

I hope the bandwagon ( we are 10th and haven't smelled the top 8 for over 4 years now LOL so some bandwagon) is packed solid on Saturday will thousands of noobs looking for memberships and shouting on the Tiges.

Well alot of Richmond fans are jumping on just to see us make the 8.
I mean LOL.
Just to see us play ONE FINAL.
Now that's not a bandwagon to me.
That's LOVE!

Come one come all!

All I've heard about the entire week is how Richmond supporters are bandwagoners.

I thought bandwagoners only joined teams that were successful?

We've won two in a row and packed out etihad stadium with ease. This isn't a bandwagon, it's just our TRUE supporter base coming to fruition.

The real bandwagon will begin to develop whilst we consistently make finals, no one should even utter the word until we make the 8.

People fear us, that's all it is so they start throwing around crap like that. I'd bet 90% of opposition posters on this board have never know a successful Richmond and how much we were loathed. We didn't give a flying **** about anyone but us and destroyed anyone who came in our way. That's going to happen again in the next few years.

Load of Bullshit the whole theory

Our membership and supporter base is testament to how loyal we are considering our shyteness

Gets right up my nose too CNB .

We have always drawn a crowd and it shows a lack of football intellect to pin such a label on us

Definitely IDGAF, we're a powerhouse.

People will think we have a mighty bandwagon now, cannot wait too see everyone's face in a few years when we DO achieve 75,000 members and make finals 3 years straight with zero debt. There's a reason why Benny made that objective, he knew it could happen. Love it!

I couldn't care less if they call us bandwagoners. FFS we haven't spent a second in the top 8 for over 4 years and are outdrawing a top 2 Essendon this season !!!!!

The main board will have hundreds of references to the Tiger bandwagon if we beat Freo.....form fans who have spent years pretending that the local womens bowling club are bigger rivals for them than poor minnow Richmond.

Come one come all. I don't care what they say. When we are really fluying only Collingwood come close to creating the buzz and athmosphere we do.
