Opinion How can this Geelong side be stopped?

He doesn't realise that last year's was Geelong's Bradbury premiership, after the worst defence in premiership history this century with a 12th position. Geelong bottom four next year.

Good thing we can always point to the year the reigning premiers went 9-13 in 2009.

Do they give us a smaller cup for not winning the flag under your incredibly strict criteria?

You don't realise your incessant trolling is juvenile. Its about time you had a good hard look at yourself in the mirror and grew up a bit.

Geelong supporters don't care.

We are allowed to discuss Geelong in a Geelong thread, and where they think they'll finish next season. Hold a mirror up to yourself. 😎

09 was quite a different year - Hawks came 9th with 36 points! That would have had them =15th this year (0.8% better than the Suns)

Where would Geelong be on the power rankings Roby?

They're currently 4th last in the team youth rankings.

which is good because it looks like the last 3 years we've taken home the youth wooden spoon

Yeah, well... Enjoy your "drying out" period.

Might be a long time between drinks.
I won't lie, having seen 4 of them now, you become a bit desensitised to it. Being a Hawthorn supporter, you can probably get what I mean.

It's a thrill at the time, and for a couple of months there after...but it doesn't change your life. It's kinda just a 'Oh yeah, that was cool' sort of thing.

It makes some of the petty one-up-manship on here all the more amusing. It's really just a game of footy, the next season rolls around and 17 other fanbases forget it even happened.

You're no better or worse a person for supporting a successful/unsuccessful team, but that seems to be forgotten around here sometimes.

I guess we do somewhat live vicariously through our footy clubs though, which would explain it.
