I've been lucky enough to only have to sit in the first tier whenever I go to the footy so I got the shock of my life when I was in the second tier for the PF against North and it took close to half an hour to even get out of the stadium at the end. No wonder people leave early

The few times I've sat in that stand its been in the third tier. Now, I'm not particularly good with heights and especially if I can feel movement or if the structure looks a bit dubious. That stand sucks balls man. The corridors are that narrow, no wonder that Daniel bloke joined the cheer squad. F*** me dead. It was a nightmare just going for a piss at half time, let alone getting out of there.

Anyway, this is about how passionate and dedicated we are, and I tell ya, if 38k fans rocking up every second week to watch a game from that shitbox isnt dedication I don't know what is.

But that's because I simply don't have access to those empty AFL reserve seats which are empty week after week ...

29 year member. Stood on the Roberts Rd wing in the early days, now seated in the same spot since the seating went in. Had seats behind the goals, Queens gardens end, at the WACA. Only missed about 6 home games in all that time, all due to being interstate/overseas. Been to 3 Grand Finals for 2 wins 1 loss. Seen them play interstate twice; v St Kilda at Waverley and the Crows at Footy Park.

Pretty sure for some sick reason Vic members are high on the priority for grand final tickets? I definitely don't agree with this so you'd be stupid not too. Or did i read that wrong last year?

Yeah I totally forgot about GF. Djddkkdkdk. I was screwed last year, managed to find an offer for 1 ticket was about $500 but I was broke.

My dirty little secret is I've never been to a GF. Been to plenty of finals but never he big one. Maybe I'll get the membership next year. Girlfriend goes for Freo and made it to our 06 one! Blah. Tried to go to the Freo one a couple years back just rocked up on he morning and went to work. Long story short it's impossible to get one on the day haha.

Doesn't help... I'm a Vic member and missed out in the ballot last year anyway. Managed to source a couple of tickets but not through any Victorian channels.

Grew up in Kal , yeah used to throw rocks pretty good in self defense , moved around the country in wa ( not city ) . Worked for rio Tinto was a country member with the kids back when you used to get school bags Caps and cool stuff . Used to work shift work and absolutely loved George Griljusich calling the footy on the radio while driving haul trucks (Would tape the games ) on the abc and saturday mornings talk back . Then George left the abc . Moved to perth and got seated membership the same year Woosha started coaching Loved the 6pr with George again and made it to the friday footy on the road shows a few times good days . I got invited to some 15 year thing so must be 15 years or more dunno . When I drink I dont know if i make sense , doesnt matter . Oh and it doesnt matter if you are in the wings or gave up its crap because we should have had a new stadium 10 years ago . Every week George and I on 6pr would talk about it . I had 7 kids and couldnt get enough memberships to take the whole family which I spewed about for years . Did I mention George , I liked that bloke .

Not so sure we should measure dedication based on membership, especially when they're almost impossible to get these days, but anyway.

I was lucky enough to get a membership in 95 as a 10 year old, with my dad and sisters. Relatively cheap back then, and no hassle to get. Been going ever since. Never been to a GF but been to most finals over here since the mid 2000s and a few in the 90s. Always thought I'd be too nervous to be at the GF, but recently I find it way more nerve racking to watch games on TV compared to being there, so maybe I'd go ok at a GF. I doubt I could ever afford it though!!

Spent ridiculous amounts of money on eagles merch over the years, old school number plates, shit loads of guernseys etc. Not sure if that's dedication, or stupidity, but I'm sure I'll keep at it either way!
