Were you happy with Eccles and Gallagher?

I was impressed with Massie; I thought he made the most of the limited opportunities he was given.
I thought he fought pretty well at every contest and tackled with real grit.

Nelson? I hope he proves me wrong ( if he gets the chance again) but he is only a good SANFL player in my opinion.

He didnt have much of a chance with Adelaides midfield not allowing him into the side.

Gallagher showed a bit, got OP and played out the rest of the season in the VFL. This was strange, because I thought he showed a bit of dash and flair, which we needed in the back pocket.

Eccles on the other hand...his kicking is really quite strange, he kicks these big bombs that go about 60m high and go for about 30m. Think up-and-under then think of it happening everytime he kicks it. Pretty hard at it which is good, but he needs to kick flatter but with his dodgy hammies, prob will not happen. I would rather have kept Massie though Massie was no midfielder and we have enough HBF already.

You can have both Gallagher and Eccles back, and retain Nelson, for one Kris Massie in return. In terms of this season, the Crows got the far sweeter deal. Have heard a few rumours relating to long term injuries to Eccles but he made little impression this year, (and he had opportunities with most of the side out). Hope he fairs better under Pagan. Gallagher has guts but needs to put on 10kg.

We won the Gallagher/Nelson swap slightly which is a relief considering how much crap we got from Crows fans for taking Gags in the first place. The Crows kicked our arse in the Eccles/Massie trade. Eccles will NEVER be a star and if he doesn't improve next year, he won't be on an AFL list at all.

It was good to see Massie running around getting the ball in the finals.

I think the Gallagher / Nelson trade was a nil-all draw. Reckon Nelson is a fair chance to get delisted too considering the Crows midfield depth, the promotion of Mattner off the rookie list & the likes of Reilly in the wings. We definitely won on the Eccles / Massie trade & IMO Massie with improved confidence could be in for a big 2003.

Eccles and Gallagher

I would have to say it was a nil-all draw

We got Gallagher who is a complete dud and will never be anything, i am glad he got delisted, and Eccles, who has the potential to become a fair player

Adelaide got Nelson who is a dud, and Massie, who also has the potential to be a fair player

Eccles has potential and he showed it in the first quarter of the Bulldogs game. Massie is probably better, though
