How did you find BigFooty?

I can't remember how I found it but I lurked for quite a while (maybe a year) and was determined not to join as I was on another forum and it took up way too much of my time already. I knew if I joined here I wouldn't be able to stop posting once I started, however I decided to join in 2012 just to post some GF training pics but needless to say once I had joined the floodgates opened and haven't been able to stop posting since.

Joined in late 2010 under a different username, when I was having a sulk over Ablett leaving. I must have been around 12 years old at the time. Can't remember the account name, but I do remember making some cringeworthy threads on the main board and struggling to understand inside jokes. I thought reference to Bosk was actually a reference to Nathan Bock. I lament the fact that our last premiership came when I was annoying and had no sense of Bay etiquette.

Since then, I have gone either months using BF addictively, or avoiding it for years at a time. Taking a gap year, so I guess I have time to up the post count for a bit.

As a 19 year old female on an internet forum with majority males, is it wise to have (presumably) yourself as your avi?

Mods have my IP, that's about as far into my life as they can delve on Bigfooty.

Couldn't care less nonetheless. I have several users on FB. Haven't been murdered or stalked yet, I think

I found this site when I googled for coverage of the 2003 rookie draft and there was a thread on here about it. Back then the Carlton board only had about 15 threads in total and you used to get server busy messages between 7pm and 9pm every night, so I didn't bother to register until Grand Final week of 2004 which was during school holidays.

The Saints board was one of the quietest boards on BF when I first joined back in 2008, we had the least amount of threads and posts of any team board.

Most Saints supporters posted on Saintsational, I would have too but the campaigners never approved my account so I ended up posting here instead.

Since then Saintsational has gone downhill and there has been an influx of Saints supporters to BF which I can only assume is due to me posting here.

My private Buffy message board was shut down, figured I'd mix it up a little.

Wanted to share my pain of not backing up 2008 with anything the next year, eventually found my way to BF via Google where I could whinge about how crap everything was with other like minded brown and gold people, lurked for while until I discovered the power of collecting likes

Nothing but pain associated with 2008. Nothing. I have a solution though - why don't we make it disappear entirely? Hawthorn folk won't have any of that backed-up bloated pain otherwise known as Premiership Constipation and us Geelong supporters - back to back 2007/2009!!

Win/win, nobody loses:)

How did I find Bigfooty? I lurked after hearing the name associated with some kind of controversy about the Hawthorn [injunction]. Or maybe it was another controversy. It might have even been an 'acceptable pornography' thread on the old TLC board.

Maybe.

Bump
I found BF through the dad of a friend of a dad I play D&D with.
I know I just ooze sex appeal.
