Obviously he MUST be racist because insults leveled at a people with dark skin are always racially motivated, and the fact Nic Nat's been fairly lazy and unfit his entire career is completely irrelevent.

Its clear we need to burn racist Reilly O'Brien at the stake for this outrage, I just have two questions - what type of wood do we use and how high the pole?

Black players are often unfairly characterised as lazy. Remember Kevin Sheedy's comments on indigenous players lacking fitness? Or players like Rioli who get criticised for possession rates that are entirely normal for their position. They're also called 'magical' as though their success is down to natural ability and not hard work.

Naitanui himself has been criticised for not getting enough of the ball, even though he averages 12 disposals which is regular for a ruckman. Garry Lyon has gone after him for not taking enough marks(after shoulder surgery) as though it personally offended him.

There's definitely some unconscious bias there.
