how do i set up usenet newsgroups

can someone explain it to me.

In outlook express i opened up the newsgroups properties and types in rec.sport.cricket and rec.sport.football.australia

but it said the server couldn't be found.

what does this mean and how do i fix it???

I can't help you with the cricket one...but the footy groups are: aus.sport.aussie-rules and rec.sport.football.australian

Note it's australiaN, not australia

i orignally had australian, i accidentaly wrote in australia in the above post.

i think my problem is with the server - bigpond.

i tried as mail.bigpond.com and as news.bigpond.com and niether worked.

Can someone help me with the problem
