Got a job interview at Melbourne Airport in Terminal 4 and I live in Craigieburn, and I'm not quite sure what the quickest way to get there is. Anyone with knowledge of public transport that could help me? Tried to PTV the trip but it says I have to go all the way to Southern Cross, when I am positive there are Melb Airport buses at Broadmeadows

As I stated, I did use PTV but it told me that the quickest way to get to the airport was to jump on the train towards the city, jump off at Southern Cross and take the Skybus; However I am also aware that there is a bus that goes to the airport from Broadmeadows and Roxburgh Park, just a few stops away from Craigieburn. I'm confused as to times, and why PTV would not acknowledge these buses, and if it is in fact the quickest route

I never knew transport in that part of town when I lived in Melbourne. There was/is a bus route that does as you say, but I don't think it runs all that often and bus routes are often not particularly direct. Plus you have to get to somewhere to connect to the route. It may be that times don't line up well and going to the city then Skybus is your quickest option - particularly given you have a preferred arrival time in mind.
