How would it have meant that? We had 4 picks and have saved one to use in the PSD after we've had a bit more time to evaluate the players we could have taken with that pick. Seems like a wise move. Get the kids down put them through their paces for a few weeks and see who is the best candiate for the last spot.

Vickery will be a star and exactly what we need, tall, agressive, ruck resting forward. I am so happy with this selection, and he makes our list much more complete as finally we have a quality ruck.
Post is an eductaed punt, looks promising and can fill a need.
Thomson and Hislop - we need size, and grunt in the mid so we got it.
This draft will fix so many weakness.

I mean GTF, someone who, and I'm only guessing here, saw maybe 4 TAC cup games this year (4 is actually the correct number) and who has no experience whatsoever in recruiting, would quite probably have more of an idea than an AFL football club with a number of people whose jobs specifically require them to watch these players for years leading up to the draft, assess them, and decide how they would fit into the club.

I thought we drafted well and got players that filled holes on the list. Ruck/KP forward, another KPP and a tough inside midfielder. Only thing I would have preferred is if we took a player at 70.
