BeanCoin mining might seem like free money, but there’s a very real and tangible cost that has been overlooked and is a long term threat to the viability of this currency. a dilution to ones like/ratio is the current cost, and whilst it might be economically viable to mine BeanCoin for established posters with many thousands of posts which can absorb the hit, for newer posters BeanCoin mining would be a disastrous hit whilst they are trying to build a solid portfolio of likes in comparison to their posting volume.

I predict one of two things will happen.
1. Posters will be incentivised to create aliases to in order to mine BeanCoin with no reputation hit to their main account and then attempt to transfer the valuable BeanCoins to their main account.

2. Once The initial adopters of BeanCoin have amassed a solid holding of the currency, they will start liking the posts that have mined BeanCoin en masse in order to increase the viability of BeanCoin mining to more members which will in turn massively inflate the price.
