Will lose to Adelaide away, beat Melbourne, 50/50 with the Lions and then lose to Hawthorn.
Cushy draw should see them knocking on the top 4 but don't have the talent to do it. Will finish 5/6 and get knocked out first round of finals.
think Wood is injured at the moment, Damon. I would love to see him make his debut.
Wood's been injured/sore and probably won't play this weekend anyway. There's video of him kicking one, but doesn't matter, he's still a few weeks off any descent form. The VFL website says Tarrant went goalless.
Just think if you're looking for more firepower, you'd reward the guy in form.
Still think they should persist with Daw though, if only for the fact that he can give Goldstein a chop out in the ruck.

That run and gun off half back stuff of courseAnd what style of play would that be?

Why is there talk of Robbie Tarrant coming straight back into the Kangaroos' side? What about Mason Wood? Averaging 8 marks and 3.25 goals per game in the VFL over the past month. Why is a just-back-from-injury (again) Tarrant (who didn't even kick a goal in his VFL return) ahead of him at the moment?
Decent medium hit up forward, a better version of a younger, fitter Aaron Edwards/Ben Warren type player.Mason Wood does seem like the type of player who'd be easy to fit into a forward line.

Also known as the handball to Atley strategy.

Followed shortly by the Atley turnover by foot.
I suggest you are right about our finishing position. But the wins bit by most posters on here seem a little bit but, but, but, but to me. Maybe one good performance interstate could be lucky but our record speaks for itself. The Port game was of high quality and we have been missing best 22 players all year. We also rotate much less than port so I would be surprised if it made much difference in the end. There were plenty of unlucky instances early on that helped widen the gap in the first place. Why can't we just admit in our wins we have been very good and the opposite in our losses. There may have been some luck along the way but there is no side who wins a lot of games that doesn't have luck with the bounce, injuries or umpiring decisions at times. In this day and age you need a lot of things to go right in an even competition. We have the score on the board against these sides and it isnt changing until or if we play them again, so until then the opinions to say we can't do it again are just guess workThe wins over Sydney and Freo are overrated because those teams were hardly going at the time. Port was also down Wingard and Monfries and after leading North most of the night, the the inability to rotate caught up with them.
I see North's best as sub-top four standard but in the 5-6 range which is where I think they will finish.
Brent Harvey aside, Atley's the best kick we have to a leading forward. His kicking at top speed is outstanding. The improvement from his first year is enormous.
*when playing off the HBF. When he had to deal with the 360 degree pressure of the midfield his kicking went back to being terrible.
