I've looked around but can't find anywhere that says what the average height is.

Judging by some of the games I've seen, these guys can jump fairly high. How do they compare to NFL or NBA players?

no idea, but theoretically some enterprising researcher could collate and then average out the vertical jump data from draft combines past ..

White men can't jump.

Jordan Gallucci and Aiden Bonar hold the standing vertical jump record at 89cm. Running vertical jump record is 102cm for a drafted player held by NicNat and Jared Brennan.

Zach LaVine (2015 and 2016 NBA slam dunk contest champion) has a running vertical leap of 46 inches (116cm). His standing vertical at the time of testing was 85cm when his running jump was 104.

But they can though.

The speckie alone shows AFL players can jump.

We've seen white guys dunk and looking at combine numbers for the NFL, there are white guys that can jump anywhere from 35-39 inches which is nothing to sneeze at. Two players I can think of who have a 38 inch vert are Jesse James and Jeff Janis.

Bear in mind, if an NBA player can jump that high, it's partially due to the fact that he's got height and reach too. There are currently no players in the NFL, white or black that can jump 46 inches, mainly because the players that are tall enough are generally 300 lbs.

Dwight Howard once dunked a 12 foot ring in an all star game dunk comp.

Here I am battling to still touch the bottom of the next on a 10 footer...
