Scrubs had a full intro, but that was only season 1, then they dropped it to only the ending after that.

Yeah, it was the 'Blitzgiving' episode. Ted figured out why Zoey was having Thanksgiving by herself and they became friends.

Good ep again by the way. Barney as a predator and then Marshall and Ted acting like teenagers. Has been a good run of episodes since Marshall's dad dying hopefully they continue on.

Yeah, another enjoyable ep. Liked everything Nato said, plus the Roman flashback. Nora seems pretty interesting as well.

He'll struggle once the series finishes, though, as will all of the actors.

Can't see any of them going on to better things. Neil Patrick Harris has the potential, but I can't see him commanding any leading, or even important supporting roles.

I see NPH returning to musicals and the like where he would command lead roles but also be quite excellent at it. Segel will be fine as he is a solid writer in his own right and I think Radnor has a film coming out soon. Hannigan will probably just join another sitcom a few years later and I have no idea what will become of Cobie.

I have been pretty impressed overall with the last few episodes with a few reminding me of just how good the show used to be. Segel seems re-energised in his role now that he has some more serious subject matter to play with. Looking forward to tonight's episode.

haha loved the bit at the start where Barney tunes out and all you hear is trombone. I'm glad to hear Zoe isn't the wife - she's kind of annoying. The captain is gags, I hope they keep him in somehow.

Nora's pretty hot as well (it's the accent).

Edit. Oh, and if we don't have hologram phones by 2021 I'm going to be super pissed.

My thoughts exactly, when you look back they have paced the season well. Hopefully building up to some big news even if it's likely to be Ted/Zoe break up & Marshall/Lily getting pregnant.

Yep there goes my theory about Zoe possibly being the mother.

I think they have to end this season with the reveal of the mother though. They've been foreshadowing it since the start of the season. The wedding where he meets her will surely be the season finale.

IIRC back around season 3 the writers were saying they had a six season arc planned out for the show (first two seasons Robin, middle two seasons searching, last two seasons dating the mother). Obviously it really took off, and seasons four and especially five were a lot of filler crap that didn't really take the overarching story anywhere.

Now it seems like they're back into it, so I'm figuring that this season finale will be meeting the mother, and next season will be about Ted getting the mother. Then season 8 would be the last one with them being together and finishing with the wedding.

Might be a bit different depending on whether they can get Jason Segel and the rest of the cast to stick around for another two years.

The thing I find weird is that he has no problems telling them this sort of stuff, but he censors words like 'shit' ("I'm too old for this... stuff") and pretends people who flip him off are giving him the thumbs up.
