In fairness I'm pissed off with what I've heard, but what's really grinding my gears is that I heard on Thursday and it's now Saturday with no acknowledgement from the club

It's just ****ing amateur hour on two fronts!! The medical department and media department...

Didn't a poster earlier in the thread said he saw Freeman training on Friday?

Broke down at training yesterday. That's the word. Won't play tomorrow.

I hope that by 'broke down' you mean 'has not progressed as hoped, and will be held back to instead play next week.' More likely it means 'Injury list: Freeman 2-3 weeks (indefinite).'

That's the session in question where he supposedly broke down, so would love to hear from anyone who was at the VFL session, all 5 of them.

It was posted on Thursday night, so if Freeman was injured.....it occurred in Thursday not Friday.

Yet a poster saw him train Friday so I'm not sure if we need to panic just as yet.

Kyle Martin is standing 10 metres in front of me right now.
Sure he is

The rumour definitely started on thecollingwoodblog though

Don't know, but I was told Thursday night and I'll back in what I heard 100%. Have a read of my posts in the VFL thread and the timing of them :thumbsu:

Injuries once again have been a pisstake this year.

8/10 top ten draft debut for their respective teams...except two. Berg was at least up front about it.
Ben Reid's "calf strain" is actually worse than an ACL.
Port score Polec...we get Karnezis.
Fasolo's foot injury ruins two seasons.
Maxwell was close to 2010 form before getting what might now amount to a retirement injury possibly.
Nathan Brown gets another shoulder injury, season ending this time.

I mean I can take a hamstring here or there, but the amount of season long injuries to key positions and talent is these last few years is pretty bad luck.
