I'm sure the poster was just asking was there any official confirmation on this story about Nathan Freeman being injured, or was it just an unconfirmed rumour floating around on twitter or wherever.

I have seen no Story Written up about Freeman’s Injury.

I heard from MATTYS123 it was a No Body on Twitter

Fair enough, Dave. I couldn't see anything at that other site (Collingwood blog) either, so I'm hoping this is someone's idea of a joke. We'll find out in a few hours time, no doubt.

I am really pis5ed of with the club on this. Sure its bad luck for so many injury's but why do we get reoccurring injury's and no Update till 20minutes before the game. Rumours were circling on Friday but they almost deliberately keep it quiet. For seniors I could almost understand to try throw of opposition clubs but first games is crap.

Prob still venting from the most pathetic display Ive seen from us last night but this clubs owes us more after this weekend and all I want is some transparency on players injury's.

Not the first and won't be the last to suffer from injuries in his first year.

Everyone just needs to relax a bit I think.

Nah we don't. Name one other club that has had an injury in the last session of the week for the past 2 weeks let alone the past month?

Something stinks in the medical/ sports science department at our club and we need to start asking questions as a supporter base or things will continue to falter.

Most clubs are having a tough time with injury, look at hawthorn.

Yeah, awesome but all the posts on bigfooty in the world won't change anything.

Yep I agree with this. A lot of clubs are struggling including Port, hawks & GC from last night.

Again name one club that's had 5 players in succession injure themselves in the last session before a match, ever? Injuries happen, but not to the level we've copped out of game.

You'd be surprised what enough like minded people can achieve :thumbsu:

I remember a lot of heartburn earlier this year on this site re a lack of VFL coverage. Within a month the club produces an audio stream...

I reckon the final training injuries are just bloody unlucky, you can't put ankles down to poor management. Who are the 5? I can only think of 3.

My first comment was to do with Freeman anyway, my feelings regarding Reid and others are completely different!

I agree with you in tht something needs to be reviewed, but how can we be more proactive? I just don't feel that bigfooty could in any way impact that in particular.

And do we just as passively accept all the other injuries? Do we relax in the realisation that injuries will prevent us from mounting an effective campaign to win a premiership or finish in the final four? He and Scharenberg are the only two of the first 13 players picked in last year's draft not to play AFL this year due to injury. Their plight is not quite as common to first year players as you wish us to believe.
