Jackson at pick 2 would be the bargain of the century.
No it isnt. He was pick 3 and has proven his worth.
Versus using pick 2 on a kid who should be a gun.....but has no AFL exposure and may not make the grade.
Pick 2 alone is a no brainer.

Imagine if this much effort was put into analysing the list management and recruitment team structure. That's their issue here.

Eagles dont have the advantage of a NSW academy dropping top 5 talent into their laps every 2nd year.
Eagles rarely get access to top trades and when they do they are paying massive overs as the opportunity doesnt come up very often.
Issue is just the club and the coach facing up to a reality of a rebuild.
Rather than over rating your list.

Agree. Eagles never stay down for long. The club demands too much and they’ll have 2 years flat max, then rebuild very quickly. Guarantee they’ll be playing finals by 2025.

30 odd - but we have 3 other rucks coming through and have never had difficulty sourcing ruckmen even at 2nd and 3rd picks.

After Nick Nat your rucks are pretty underwhelming.
I’ve see the crap sitting in their reserves let alone their league side wont be a two year reset more like a five year rebuild and that’s being conservative.
