Anything to the back of the head is dangerous. What Jonas did was worse than what Hall did. You can hit a guy to the jaw and unless you possess god like power you will KO him, or possibly destroy his jaw. Get a guy in the back of the head in the right (or as it were wrong) spot you can literally kill him. In boxing the chin is the target, but a punch to the back of the head is illegal and frowned upon for this very reason.
