Being out of form and whingeing about getting dropped .... FMD ....only word for that is SOOK
Either he’s the biggest sook or he’s just plain honest and dumb. I get the feeling the media have twisted his words a bit to make it look like a child-like tantrum. He needs to be a bit more cliche’, and say things like “yeah the coach told me some hard truths and I believed I deserved it”, “not happy with my current form but I will do my best to work my ass off to try and get back to the senior level”.

His honesty is basically setting him up to look like a dill when he continues to underperform.

Jenkins at his best is not better than Brown at his best, Brown just missed out on the Coleman last year.
I hate to defend any comment on JJ right now, but statistically JJs best season was 62 goals, and BB’s ‘Almost Coleman’ was 61 goals. And in that year JJ outdid him in Marks, Disposals and Hitouts...

Still, F__k that guy!

What would Jenkins get in a trade, or what would you accept?

Obviously how much salary remains on his contract and who is paying it affects things.

Late 2nd rounder? would anyone pay that, especially given the way he is most likely up for trade is if Berg goes well and that would mean JJ spends a lot of time in the SANFL?

There would still be several clubs who could use him.
The real question is how much of his salary would we need to agree to meet to convince the new suitor.

If we could free up say 300k I'd do it for a peppercorn.

We probably shouldnt look at the respective teams they played on.

Just going stat for stat. But if you’re going to be pedantic you could also counter argue that the Crows were the highest scoring team and had many avenues to goal competing with JJ. Verses far less potent North team who went primarily through BB for their scoring.

Again, I don’t really care about any of this, and quite frankly arguing about it is beyond not important too me. So if you want to reply with a snappy remark try and keep this in mind!

If you don't want to defend bad analysis, it's easier to just not make it?

The Crows being the highest scoring team created the avenue for Jenkins, they certainly didnt deprive him of them.

In so doing our style of play masked the real problem with Jenkins: that he doesnt have any tools to consistently create goals where they are not created for him. His struggles this year have been the large result of that fact.

I think you underestimate just how much I don’t give a s__t about the difference between these 2 guys, was always a comment on stats vs stats.

If you want to see my opinion on JJ right now look at my last 40 posts about him.
