This sort of moves on from who we believe will be our next captain.
Watching Neitz get injured again tells me his body isn't what it used to be. He's starting to get a few softer injuries, and his form isn't what it once was (he was great against the Swans, but that has been close to it.) There could even be a chance he might not captain beyond 2005 if we lose our last 4, making it 10 losses in a row.
The problem is... I don't think I see anyone on the list worthy, or ready, to take on the role. Yze, White, Bruce, Green etc are not up to it. Let's be honest. Miller could be, but he hasn't established himself as a player yet, let alone a fully fledged leader. Same goes for McLean.
So would Neitz stay on, or sacrifice the role for the good of his game and let someone else step up to take it?
