Wasn't a whole lot in it, but could easily argue high and intentional (given the elbow was out) which could bring 3-4 weeks.

Nice to see the guys rally afterwards. Also special mention to Cam Cloke for getting stuck into his own brother...great to see

I think he will get 2 weeks.

There was really no need for the arm to go out at head height. But they will go a bit more leniant given it was in play and in the heat of the moment.

Agree with the thoughts so far. 2-3 weeks for mine. Head high, and more than likely intentional will be the grading. Like most today, Maxwell was hopeless. Can't believe that Collingwood gave him the No.5 jumper.

Still, could have been worse. It could have gone to Dale Thomas. :thumbsd:

Well, if you listened to the Collingwood moron in front of me, Maxwell should get off and Murphy needs to harden up

I would say Two weeks. Have to protect the head of the players. Maxwell was clearly going the man rather than try to lay a tackle.

Give the t!rd life?

Head high contact, should have laid the tackle, instead of going with the elbow, 2 or 3 weeks

What about Stevens getting reported...

If common sense prevails then it will get thrown out, it was head high I think so maybe he will get a reprimand.

But from the ground it looked like nothing.

Even the collingwood supporters are saying that it was nothing and will get dropped...

And if the filth reckon that, then it is a good chance that it will get dropped :)

Watching the game live, it looked as though there was absolutely nothing in it, but seeing the replay, there was a high forearm, but still, should get thrown out.

Did anyone see Thomas's hit in the ribs on Steven's in the 2nd quarter. He was on his knees for about 30 secs. Thomas weak as piss.

I didn't, but it reminds me of an incident in the midfield (I think the second quarter), where the Collingwood fella staged for a free kick, holding onto his guts, only for the decision to be reversed and Carlton getting the free. This moron goes ahead and stands up straight and starts running:rolleyes:.

Probably two weeks, was a stupid decision from Maxwell I think, not only for himself, but it certainly fired up Carlton as we steamed ahead.

As opposed to a couple of years ago when Didak the tosser dropped Scotty and all Carlton wanted to do for the rest of the match was mix it up with them and they walked all over us.

Today, it seems that we were there to play football :)
