What makes me laugh is that pre-season people were getting knocked for picking:

Drummond
Chapman
Malceski
Chad Cornes
Goddard (for high carry over points)


Yet all these guys are going arlong nicely in terms of durability. I took the punt on Drummond, but not on Chapman which im upset about. Also picked Cornes and Gordard but stayed away from Malceski thank god.

Haha, yeah. They'll probably miss games eventually (I've got 4 of them - the good 4) yet it's not as if the historically durable players are immune from injury.

Yep. For all the hype over durable players over the pre season, it's failed spectacularly so far. Was a bit like the hype over unique players a couple of years ago, although that did see some success.

If all these injuries continue, all the hype will be about spending up on bench players next year.

*it was the forward line injuries that hurt the most. Copped 3 zeros in the forward line this week. I actually thought that Davis had a bit of a groin issue early on this year, but I thought maybe I was wrong given his great form - D'oh!

Also, all the injuries that have contributed to making DT shizenhausen this year is actually helping me in SC. There is skill involved in this game as proven in the past my SD, Convicts etc., but this year would have decimated some very good DTers teams.
