He was quick for a kpd, nobody disputing that.

Some are suggesting he could play small defender role which would put him up against Betts, is he quick enough for that?

No. However, playing Carlton we could put Hibberd on Betts and Pears on Walker. Fletch will take Garlet just to troll them!
 
Let me firstly say HOOKER is def not part of my "Talls"

Our backline is our weakness, which is why I'd play Hurley CHB. He gives a level of assuredness, grit and conviction, that the other 5 can feed off and more importantly allows Carlisle to continue oncourse with his rapid development. Depending on the opposition you could also slot Pears in there if we played a West Coast to add more height, but not compromise any mobility.

Forward, Id have Ryder, Crameri and a combo of JD or Gumby and even Hardingham as that run and jump small/tall, much like he started out in 2010.
