Get Pav or Lyon on the dognbone and let them know that all selection processes are void cos there's 30 splendid judges on bigfooty who want Sylvia or Morabito in the team.
Then of course someone would ask if you could count, and it would all turn to dogshyte again.
Your contribution here is very useful. Good to see your no longer bushies little bitch though.

Oh man, well said.

scon is the most sycophantic try hard on these boards. The less sad geriatrics on these boards the better. That includes the unhinged member who is currently banned.

No probs clogged you can't find a post about footy.
mike91 you're the selection messiah.
Too easy.
I can find posts about footy for every other poster. Where are yours? I query your username, all I see is either vague passive aggressive commentary or direct commentary about others. What's your deal? Too stupid to talk about footy?

Best way for Duff, Spurr, Crowley, Mayne et al to find form is to keep playing. Who else will step up for them, really? There's no option and they're not going to get their effort or execution up anymore at Peel than at AFL.

They're vital cogs too. Take them out and you notice something a little flimsy about them, a bit like having two less beers before you meet up with a lass at a nightclub. You realise you're a bit less assured, a little flimsier, and just not up to scratch without em. Zac Dawson showed that too. Sonny is too.

Let's get back on topic.

Crozier needs to find form in the WAFL. I think Pearce has been okay and should maintain his spot.

Unfortunately we don't have anyone to pressure Spurr and Crowley's position. Crowley hasn't been too bad but gee his kicking gives me the shits.

I hope to god we get a good showing by Morabito and Sylvia in the WAFL.

Not calling for it but I reckon DeBoer, Mzungu and Menagola could adequately do Crowley's job. Crowley is great but not irreplaceable, have this funny feeling it could be the making of Menagola if he survives at the club.

I think Lyon agrees with you about the no replacement for Spurr, if continues to be out of form I would consider C Pearce or Ibbo to take his role (the best replacement would be Mzungu but he is too valuable elsewhere.

I'm worried. Last year even in our lean depth games we proved really well structured.

We've been found out. Other teams went to school on our 2013 exposure; Couple that with us CHANGING our formula of success has been mere trial and error resulting in shaky, inconsistent performing.

Mayne should be performing like Bruest of Hawthorn. Isn't.

Ballantyne not as much scoreboard as last year.

Mundy/Fyfe/Barlow not exactly "monstering" as they did last year.

Selective memory.

We got well beaten last year by Richmond, Hawthorn and Geelong. We also lost a close game against Essendon, drew with Sydney and threw one against St. Kilda. If we can win at home against Geelong, Hawthorn and Port we can drop the games against Geelong and Richmond away and we will still make top 4.

Fremantle made one grand final and now the supporters expect us to win every single game?

You guys forget that we were only top 4 for 3 rounds before we jumped in in round 19 last year.

Not really selective memory. Expect us to look slicker and better and more damaging than we do. RTB himself said mediocre. We are getting by on talent of a few and effort among most.

Not exactly a professional implementation of a gameplan out there, as was STANDARD last year.

We are currently fielding 2012 form. Anyone who thinks different is optimistic, or out of touch.

Only round 1 and the GC game has been on par with 2013 form. Essendon without chappy and fletch + heat = easy beats. Manful in Sydney and vs Hawks.

I expected us to drop 5 games this year, what we basically did last year, as a worse case. Less than half way and we can only drop ONE for that humble predictor and top 4 guarantor. On form, this is 2012. We are the Collingwood of 2013. In and about, getting by on talent of a few and effort among most. Rough gameplan implementation.

I'm not sure we have been playing much worse than we did in the first half of last year. Maybe a little bit, but the main difference is the opposition and even more injuries than we had in 2013. If we could flip our first 9 and second 9 games around, we'd probably be on top of the ladder right now, and then win a few more of the games that we have currently lost.

We had an extremely fortunate draw last year, that allowed us to manage our injuries without losing too many games. When we came up against decent sides, we were smashed (Richmond, Geelong, Hawthorn). We only really hit our straps in the last 2 months of the season.

Too, true , I said this game would tell us a lot about both teams before the game .
I am encouraged by yesterdays performance, last year without Dawson , Macpharlap and Son son , it would have been a result like when we played the Hawks and Geelong away last year.

Yesterday was probably our 2nd best effort this year, being the only team to even look like beating Port at home.

I thought we did ok yesterday, yes we can do alot better.

Mayne was starting to show some good signs.

Remember back 2 seasons ago, after Ross took over. The first part of the season was doom & gloom as the team tried to adapt to Rossco's game plan. Second half of the season, the light bulb clicked on in the players heads and the team blossomed. This season Rossco is making changes to a more attacking style, first half of the season has been so so, I reckon in the second half of the season the team will blossom.

If people complain about crowley's kicking, let's hope we never get to hear what they say about menegola. He just does not seem to have the skills required to be an AFL player, I think he will be delisted this year unfortunately for him

Believe it or not every single game for the rest of our season is winnable.

Quite simply we need to turn Patterson's into a fortress again; we need to beat Geelong, Hawks and Port at home and we need to beat easy away games - we absolutely MUST put Richmond away at the G otherwise our season is over. We can still make top 2 but we literally can't drop a game; we can probably lose two more and still make top 4 and we'll just have to pull off a performance like we did against Geelong last year with a tough away win.

This is still our year.

That is certainly the issue for him to overcome. What he does have going for him is a tank that allows him to run with anyone and a strong body and solid mark. You are probably right in regards to the end of the year but if he stays it is because of his elite running skills. Not many obvious people for the chop this year.

I don't know how good they all were, but he had 17 kicks in his 33 disposals today. Seems he should be given the call up rather than delisted.

I see a few of the posters getting vocal on this board lately and I wonder the same thing.

We only have to win one of our games against Port and we still make top 4, possibly top 2. It's going to get tedious if people squeal all the way there.
But its more than us being 4-4.

We simply arent playing like a top4 side, we dont deserve the top4, a U turn doesnt seem likely.

May as well jump off now then. Season over.

I'm staying for the u-turn

Yeah, we're rooned.

Go to Adelaide without our 2 best defenders, our most potent small forward, players down on form, lose Hill early against the league leaders and more than hold our own for 3 quarters, only to get over-run in Q4 after a 6 day break after a Derby.

It seems that Port Adelaide supporters acknowledge our effort far more tha the majority of our own supporter base.

Mind you, that's no surprise.

Too many bandwagoners following the club the last couple of years, spoilt and thinking it was all going to be easy and just happen this year. First hiccup or 2 and it's now all doomsday for the club.

Christ I almost sound like one of those dickheads from dockerland there.
