Just watching a bit of Fox Footy, Flashback us V the Eagles,Rd1,2001.The WC in their technicolour yawn jumpers, bloody awful. The Westcoast have cleaned out their list and arnt looking the best, of course they get a Priority pick in 2001 and get Judd. Justice, where art thou...

Its amazing how quickly things change.

Micthell White(19) in his first and best game for us
Sheepdog Murphy(20) all friendly
Rockin Ronnie(8), going left right, left and who knoes where
Adam Houlihan(3),being so super hard at it but could sneak a goal
Brad Sholl(12), what a servant for the club
David Mench(31), playing one hell of a game
Glen Killer Kilpatrick, typified the era of plug and plastering over the cracks
Clint The Biz (9) being the poormans FF
Budda Hocking(32),let me intoduce you to my elbow
David Spriggs(6), before the knee, what a waste
David Clarke(14), believe it or not grabs the ball, takes a bounce runs through to 40, close to the boundary and drills it
Jason Shnell, pre the leg, shame for the boy
Big Benny(7), playing where he felt the most natural KP Backman
Harley running around in the 37 jumper
of course there the guys w stil know and love
Steven King , gees he could move alright at one stage, coming of the B&F
Ricco, had the moves then, still got most of them now.could kick a little longer back then , barrelled one from 70 out
Joel Corey, Mr future B&F looked pretty handy as a young fella
Scarlo, its all there just a little looser
Cam Mooney, short hair, rough around the edges
Dasher, looking a bit yonger with his bowl cut.

Its justa reminder that there has been a fair bit of work done by Bomber & crew. I wonder how many from the 05 year will be here in 09?

Yeah they are all '99 or '00 boys who were not take with realy early picks so early days the would have been finding their feet at the club. Funny how 2001 seems like yesterday, but so much has changed since then. I reckon when they start playing the '02 games, it will be much more familiar and similar to todays game because of the '01 'Super-draft'.

Yeah! I was watching too. Great to remember the talent that has left. Actually saw our family up behind the goals with the cheersquad. I agree Murphy looked really good, pity about that. Ronnie was pretty busy and thought Joel made some good interceptions but his kicking was a little astray.
Memories ahh!, was thinking about all the new talent since then Bomber and Co has really built a great team. Benny's long kicking was a delight, I see we are on around 2pm today playing the bombers in 2002.
Before we know it the guys will be back training and footy will be on again. After the swans efforts this year I think this should give teams alot of heart, record years without flags can be broken and who cares if you win and were not the best team on the night, the scores on the board and thats all that counts.
