Good game by the Cats. I was impressed. Essendon showed glimpses of their best but Geelong held firm.

Murphy was alright, as was Mensch, Harley, Sholl, Milburn, Mooney, King and young Street(?). With that sort of play, the Cats could be anything....but...have they found the ingredient for consistency? Time will tell.

What did they recieve in that swap anyway?
Many of us believe that Mitch was worth the two year contract he wanted. KJ only offered one year and Mitch left.
Time will tell if KJ was right. Mitch has really suspect knees. If he is wrecked early in the season then KJ was right.
There is no doubt that he has fabulous skills, paricularly in disposal.

Kat, I'll forgive this due to your youth.

Many words are long time "Australianisms",
such as bewdy mate, she'll be apples, bloody oath, etc etc etc, there are 1000's of them, grouse is just another ockerism
