No.

It's more like going into your local community library and walking up to the librarian's desk, and asking where the science fiction books are kept.

It's a bit odd, sometimes in the supermarket in the middle of aisle 12 some random will just yell out "Hey, where are the science fiction books kept?" and expect someone to answer them.
