Since this area of the site was created, biased polls have continued to be made, and most people with any form of intelligence recognise this, and consequently complain

eg "of course the poll favours that option because most of the people voting are fans of the team associated with that option!"

Well BF, here is your chance to do something about it, and all it takes is a tiny bit of thinking, and a few seconds.

Say you want to make a non-biased poll regarding who people think is the better player. Let's take a random example, Michael Voss vs James Hird.

This is how to create the non-biased poll:

Who was the better footballer?

a) Michael Voss (I'm a Brisbane supporter)
b) James Hird (I'm an Essendon supporter)
c) Michael Voss
d) James Hird

You must also allow votes to be public, so that fans of teams stupid enough to vote in the wrong area can publicly be laughed at, ridiculed, and shown for how little intelligence they possess, and they are unable to be non-biased themselves.

Now this won't hold true for every single poll created (eg if a player has played for say two clubs), however it will go a long way toward making a very large number of polls in this section of the site have far more credibility, and thus make each thread more worthy of having a poll in the first place.

Mods, I also believe this thread should be stickied.

Bump

Sticky this thread

Otherwise, this forum is a joke because it's based on polls, and the polls have no credibility - change the culture ffs.

Also once the poll has been posted do not make a wirte consisting of "Player A has done this, and this and is good. He is the greatest thing of earth [insert hardbell gets and free kick count], whilst player B is a dirty cheat who has done nothing"
